The fedora and whip will return to movie screens – here’s what needs to come with them.
According to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, Indiana Jones 5 will happen – sooner rather than later. After all, when Disney bought LucasFilm, Star Wars wasn’t the only storied franchise to come in the deal. Indiana Jones remains an iconic, hot property. Say what you will about Crystal Skull, but it was a profitable movie, and for all its flaws, it still surpassed Temple of Doom. In short, the House of Mouse would be insane to neglect it, and it looks as if they realize this. What, however, will a finished Indiana Jones 5 look like? Will Harrison Ford be back? Will Chris Pratt, or some other marketable younger star, take over for Indy, turning him into a Bond-like figure? Will it be a reboot? A continuation? Will George Lucas and Steven Spielberg return to guide the franchise into the future? And will the fifth movie be the last one? If you thought a lot was riding on the last Indiana Jones adventure, well, there’s even more at stake this time around. So lets take a look at ten things that absolutely, positively must happen in a fifth Indiana Jones movie – and hope that at least some of these pan out! |
